• Mix warm water with a mild cleaner.
• Wipe off the dirt with a soft, clean cloth or sponge.
• Remove all cleaner residue with a damp cloth.
• Wipe the surface completely dry with a dry cloth.

You must not use acidic cleaners, strong alkaline agents, oil-based polishes, scouring powder, steel wool, hard brushes or rough sponges. They bleach the surface, attack the seal or leave scratches. Only soft microfibre cloths are suitable – the kind used for glass, kitchen appliances and coated pans.

We advise against it. Alcohol attacks the surface seal and in the long run leads to a surface that looks dull or patchy. For daily cleaning, a cleaner with a neutral pH value is sufficient.

We recommend them for lasting protection of the surface. A coaster prevents water from remaining under the glass and forming rims; a trivet prevents heat from discolouring the seal and leaving round marks. A base is also advisable under vases, because water standing for a long time can leave stains.

Blot the liquid immediately with a clean, dry cloth so that nothing remains standing on the surface. If the dirt has already soaked in, briefly dampen the area with clear water and carefully absorb the water with a clean cloth. Do not let the water dry on the surface – wipe it completely dry instead.

Sunscreen with dimethicone and aloe ingredients, nail polish remover, red wine, vinegar, lemon juice, ketchup, citrus fruit and olive oil are among the critical substances. They can attack the seal or leave irreversible marks. Wipe such residues off immediately and dry the area afterwards.

Ideally not at all – the longer oil soaks in, the harder it is to remove. Absorb it first and then clean the area with a neutral cleaner. Afterwards, wipe it completely dry so that no moisture remains in the pore.

Efflorescence is a normal reaction in a damp environment and not a quality defect. For targeted treatment, brush the affected areas with a 5 % citric acid solution. Because this is a special case and not everyday cleaning, rinse thoroughly with clear water immediately afterwards, dry the surface and then apply a water-based protective product again. For normal cleaning, a neutral cleaner remains the right choice.

For normal cleaning, warm water, soap, ammonia or a cleaner with a soft cloth or sponge are sufficient. Stubborn dirt and discolouration can be removed with a stainless steel cleaner, applied with a soft cloth along the polishing direction. Make sure that no cleaner gets onto painted or plastic parts; near the coast, cleaning intervals are shorter, because corrosion occurs faster there.

Warm water with mild washing-up liquid, a soft cloth and a dry cloth for the final wipe – that is all it needs. Petrochemical or abrasive cleaning agents, hard brushes and rough sponges are not permitted. Do not place objects on the surface, do not eat directly over it, and cover the fire pit when it is not in use.

Clean the burner tray regularly of residues, because combustion deposits affect the sensitivity of the fill level sensor. Wipe only lightly and do not change the position of the filling opening and the sensor. Cleaning at least once a week makes sense if the fire pit is in frequent use.

Water evaporates, and without a change, algae form over time. Check the water level regularly, change the water at intervals and clean the pump and filter material every 2 to 3 months. If the pump does not remain fully submerged during operation, dry running threatens – the most common reason for pump damage.

If the surface is cleaned regularly and kept dry, a damp cloth with normal cleaner and water is enough. Use only soft microfibre cloths so that the polished surface is not scratched. Also avoid letting acidic foods, drinks, oils or cosmetics dry on the top.

For outdoor products we recommend surface care every 3 to 6 months: clean the surface, let it dry completely and apply a water-based protective product thinly with a soft cloth. If you work at longer intervals, you should reseal after 12 months at the latest.

Three signals show it clearly: the surface attracts dirt more easily, the colour looks darker, and water no longer forms droplets but soaks in immediately. Slight changes after long use or after cleaning are normal and not grounds for a complaint – they simply belong to the next care cycle.

First clean the surface thoroughly and let it dry completely until no dust sticks to it. Apply the protection thinly to the concrete surface with a soft cloth and work in small sections. After it has dried completely, wipe off any residue; work in a dust-free environment, ideally in the shade.

For the second protective layer, film-forming seals approved for GRC are suitable – for example products from Truseal or UC Coatings. What matters is that the product is film-forming and released for composite materials. Universal protective agents of unknown composition should be avoided and can change the surface irreversibly.

Small defects can be repaired with the matching ELEMENTI repair liquid: apply evenly, let it harden, smooth it down – the protective component means the repair area is sealed again. For depressions or holes, proceed in three steps: repair, let it harden, sand it level. One note belongs with this: after the repair, the colour may differ from the original surface; that is a normal effect and not a defect.

No. Sanding, painting, dismantling or rebuilding on your own initiative leads to loss of warranty and can damage the surface irreparably. The one exception is reworking an edge with the ELEMENTI repair liquid – there too the surface is sealed again afterwards so that the protection is preserved.

Check gas hoses monthly and additionally at every cylinder change; cracks, bleaching or signs of ageing mean immediate replacement with a hose of the same length and quality. The date printed on the hose or the country-specific replacement cycle also applies. Wear parts include the thermocouple, ignition electrode, spark plug, battery, gas hose and pressure regulator – only original parts should be ordered.

Yes, at least once a year by a qualified technician. The inspection covers the secure seating of the burner and possible corrosion, the air mixer being clear of insects, cobwebs or dirt, the tightness of all gas connections and the function of the ignition system. Wear parts are checked as well – until a defective component is replaced, the fire pit stays out of operation.

In the short term yes, permanently we advise against it. Below −5 °C the products should be brought indoors if possible; if that is not possible, a cover at least protects the surface. Standing water and repeated freeze-thaw cycles are the causes that lead to cracks.

The surface must be completely dry before the cover goes on. If it is covered while damp, moisture accumulates, efflorescence increases and in frost the component can crack. With fire pits, wait after use until the housing has cooled down completely before the protective cover goes over it.

The cover must be breathable. Film or plastic tarpaulins are unsuitable, because they trap water inside. The cover should fit tightly so that no rain or snow collects in hollows; the opening at the bottom is additionally tied shut.

First close the control knob and the cylinder valve, then let the housing cool down completely and put the protective cover on. Store the fire pit in a cool, dry place, away from children and pets and without direct sun or draughts. The storage temperature must not exceed 50 °C, and during longer periods of non-use, remove the batteries and disconnect the gas connection properly.

Before a longer break or transport, the remaining fuel must be drained completely – using a suction pump or the drain function of the unit. Keep the fuel in the approved original container and store the unit dry and safe, out of the reach of children and pets.

Empty the internal tank completely via the drain valve and store the fuel properly. Avoid prolonged dry running of the feed pump, because that considerably shortens its service life. The plastic hoses inside the unit have a service limit of two years and should be replaced on that cycle.

Five steps are part of it: bring it indoors if possible; otherwise position it dry and under cover; remove all internal parts (plug, hose, lighting, pump); drain the water completely and remove the drain plug; lift the fountain so that it does not freeze to the ground. The pump can overwinter in the fountain, but then it must be completely dry and packed insulated in a plastic bag with a cloth – storing it separately is better, however.

First check the basin for frost damage, because a crack explains leaks. Then check the pump, hose and sealing plug, reassemble everything and carry out a leak test before filling with water and connecting the power supply.

Below 5 °C ambient temperature a gas fire pit does not work reliably, because the gas flow is limited. Another common cause of a low flame is a cylinder with less than 25 % remaining content – changing the cylinder helps here. For fountains: do not operate below 5 °C ambient temperature and do not heat the water above 35 °C; in frost, disconnect the power supply, drain the water and store the unit dry.

The period starts with the date of purchase, not with the delivery date or commissioning. Keep the invoice or proof of order – without proof of purchase the start of the period cannot be determined. For processing, the order number is usually sufficient.

Whether a product is repaired or replaced is decided by ELEMENTI after reviewing the case. Liability is limited to the purchase price of the affected product. Indirect damage going beyond the purchase price is not part of the warranty.

We provide spare parts and replacement products free of charge. The buyer bears the cost of shipping to the original place of purchase; the same applies to removal, on-site assembly and reinstallation. These items are explicitly excluded from reimbursement in the warranty terms.

No. The warranty applies to products in non-commercial, private use and is not transferable. If you want to use a product commercially, for example in a restaurant or a hotel, clarify the applicable conditions with our service team before ordering.

For the gas connection, yes. Gas products must be installed by an approved gas fitter; all work on the gas line is reserved for this group of people. Installation, a change to the gas line or an improper repair by unauthorised persons is not covered by the warranty.

GFRC is cast by hand from natural mineral raw materials. Natural colour and texture deviations of up to 15 % – between two products or across a single surface – individual surface pores, fine non-structural hairline cracks from natural curing as well as slight weathering and water marks outdoors are typical of the material. They do not affect the structure or the usability and are not manufacturing defects.

Stains, impact marks, scratches, chipped edges as well as colour deviations based on photos fall into this group. Signs of use occur on any product that is used and do not justify a warranty claim. Superficial refreshing can be done yourself with the ELEMENTI repair liquid and a reseal.

If a product is not cared for according to the instructions, or if it is sanded, painted, dismantled or rebuilt without written approval, the warranty lapses. This rule protects against damage caused by the wrong cleaning agents or unsuitable protective products. For resealing that means: better not to use products of unknown composition.

Transport damage and the effort for removal, on-site assembly, reinstallation and shipping costs are not reimbursed. Transport damage is handled via the carrier – we support you with the process, without it becoming a warranty case. What to do about transport damage is described in the FAQ article Shipping and Delivery.

Three groups matter: gas installations by unauthorised persons; wear and consumable parts such as the thermocouple, ignition electrode, spark plug, battery, gas hose and pressure regulator, as well as metal oxidation and discolouration from heat; and fragile or decorative attachments such as wind glass panels, ceramic wood, lava stone and fire glass.

Here too there are three groups: damage from the wrong fuel, such as ethanol below 95 % purity, methanol or petrol; discolouration of the surface from fuel residues as well as heat-related metal discolouration; and supplied decorative material and accessory parts.

The following are needed: the order number or proof of purchase, the product model with a short description of the problem, plus an overall photo of the product and a sharp close-up of the affected area. Without photos, an assessment from a distance is not possible. Also keep the original packaging – it is needed for returns and replacements.

Do not sand or repair anything before the case is settled. Unauthorised work affects the assessment and can jeopardise the claim. For a return, please agree the transport in advance and pack the product securely – the FAQ article Care and Winter Storage explains how concrete surfaces are prepared for transport.

Check the goods as soon as you unpack them – this includes deviations that only show up in photos. Visual deviations within what is typical of the material are normal; if a deviation seems too large to you, please contact us promptly. Transport-related damage is not part of the warranty but damage from the delivery – we report it to the carrier and handle the case for you.

Without the original packaging, large components can hardly be shipped safely. Keep the packaging therefore for as long as the product is in use – for a replacement or a return it is practically indispensable. Wrap a damaged area additionally with padding material so that it is not put under further stress in transit.

Because lack of care is an explicit exclusion group. Reseal the surface every 3 to 6 months, at the latest after 12 months, and store products dry before covering them. Anyone who works with aggressive cleaners or sands the product without approval risks the warranty – the right products are listed in the FAQ article Care and Winter Storage.

The conditions described here relate to deliveries within the EU. Other regions may have different periods and rules, which can be found in the documents valid there. If you intend to buy abroad or use the product commercially, clarify the scope before ordering.

Contact the service team with the model, year of manufacture and order number. For most components there are assignments via the product model, for example for the thermocouple, ignition electrode, gas pressure regulator, fountain pump or transformer. What matters here: use only original parts – perfectly fitting alternatives from a DIY store are not intended and can cause consequential damage.

After the two years have passed, the service team remains available – costs are then charged according to the work involved. For many cases there is a direct solution: repair surfaces with the repair liquid and reseal them, reorder wear parts such as the gas hose, ignition electrode or fountain pump as original parts. For larger damage, an assessment by the service team is worthwhile before you intervene yourself.

Small defects yes – with the matching repair liquid and subsequent resealing. Sanding, painting, dismantling or rebuilding without written approval, on the other hand, is not permitted. Such work changes the surface permanently; that is why a deviating shade at the repair area is one of the normal results.

You have a 14-day right of withdrawal and can return the order without giving reasons. Once the return has arrived, we refund the full purchase price of the returned goods. The buyer bears the return shipping costs; because we organise the collection, the amount is – unless instructed otherwise – offset directly against the amount originally paid.

Individually available are, among others, wear and spare parts for fire pits (thermocouple, ignition electrode, spark plug, gas hose, pressure regulator), decorative material such as lava stone and fire glass, fountain components such as pump, hose, transformer, rubber plug and levelling shims, as well as the repair liquid for GFRC. Orders are placed with the manufacturer or the specialist dealer – use only original parts, because unauthorised components cause damage and can impair the warranty.

Yes, the pump is a replaceable component. Order it in the same version as the original and, when installing, make sure that the pump is fully submerged and only touches the basin floor. Important to know: non-structural wear and consumable parts are not covered by the warranty.

The gas fire pit uses AAA batteries for ignition. The remote control of the smart ethanol fire pit works with a CR2025 lithium battery (3 V), which is not included in the scope of delivery. On cylinder operation, fully close the gas supply before changing batteries; remove the batteries during longer periods of non-use.

Furniture arrives fully assembled and only has to be unpacked and set up. Fire pits and fountains are modular and are put together following the instructions. For the gas connection itself, a different rule applies than for positioning the housing.

Yes. All work on the gas line must be carried out by an approved gas fitter. Installation, a modification to the gas line or an improper repair by unauthorised persons is not permitted and is excluded from the warranty. Also observe your country’s requirements for installation, minimum clearances and connection.

First make sure that the gas shut-off valve is closed and the control knob is set to “OFF”. Then insert the AAA battery for the ignition. Before igniting, all connections must be made and the leak test completed – nothing is ignited before that.

The hose is pushed onto the gas inlet, the hose clamp tightened and the fit checked: no damage to the thread or to the sealing surfaces, no kink and no contact with hot surfaces or sharp edges. Then connect the gas pressure regulator to the cylinder – the regulator is country-specific and must comply with local regulations. Always close the cylinder valve before loosening the hose.

Fill the spray bottle with 1 part washing-up liquid and 3 parts water. With the regulator set to “OFF”, open the gas supply and spray the soap solution onto valves and connections. If bubbles form, close the gas supply immediately, reconnect and test again; if bubbles remain visible, shut off the gas supply and contact your specialist dealer. A test with an open flame is never permitted.

Turn the knob to “OFF”, slowly open the gas supply and press the ignition button until sparks appear. Keep the ignition button pressed and at the same time push the knob to “LOW” to ignite the gas. After ignition, keep the knob pressed for a further 20 seconds, check that all burner openings have ignited and then regulate the flame size.

If the fire pit does not ignite within 5 seconds, turn the knob back to “OFF” and wait 5 minutes so that the gas can escape. Only then attempt ignition again.

Yes, but only with heat-resistant gloves – and never with your upper body above the fire pit. Push the decorative material aside with a small shovel until the burner is exposed. With the glove on, bring the flame to the burner from the side, turn the knob anticlockwise to “LOW” and then remove the ignition source again. Afterwards, put the lava stones or fire glass back in place using the shovel and gloves.

For a standard tray we recommend around 5 kg of lava stone. The material is placed by hand, not poured from the sack – dust can clog the burner openings. Top up so that the top layer sits about 1 to 2 cm above the upper edge of the burner, and keep the ignition box clear. Before rearranging or cleaning, the material must have cooled down completely. On cylinder operation, push the control knob to “OFF” and then close the cylinder valve. On natural gas operation, also push the knob to “OFF” and then close the gas shut-off valve. If the flame goes out during operation, turn immediately to “OFF” and wait at least 5 minutes before the next ignition attempt. Wait until the flame has gone out and the burner has cooled down for at least 60 minutes. Refuel exclusively through the filling opening and never directly onto the burner. Fill to a maximum of 80 % of capacity and use a safety can with a flame arrester. If fuel spills, first wipe it up with a dry cloth, then with a damp one – ignition only happens once everything has dried completely.

Only bioethanol with a purity of at least 95 % is permitted. Ethanol of lower purity as well as methanol, petrol, kerosene or other substitutes are not permitted. Methanol is harmful to health, and the wrong fuel damages the unit immediately – in that case the warranty is void.

Open the slider completely and wait 60 seconds so that residual gases can escape. Dip the tip of the long lighter into the burner area, take it out again so that no fuel drips onto the floor, and light it like a candle. Guide the burning rod back into the burner area; with long burners it is best to ignite from the two short sides. Let the residual flame on the rod burn off completely before putting it down – and always keep your face and hands at least one lighter-length away.

With round burners, place the lid on and check that it sits fully; with linear burners, push the slider with the handle to the front closing position – several times if necessary. Set the flame size before igniting or after cooling down; the metal plate is not removed during operation. After extinguishing, wait 30 minutes and let the burner cool to room temperature before igniting again.

Press the cover so that the lid opens and the control panel becomes visible. Before first use, switch on the main switch and connect the hose to the filling port while the other end is in the fuel container. Once the connection is firm, start the automatic filling with the “FUELING” button; filling stops automatically. Ignition is via the “ON/OFF” button.

The display provides information on the ethanol level (E3 minimum to C4 maximum), the fill level (L1 and L2), the flame air (F0, F1, F2) and the sound level of the wood crackling (S0 to S3). Fill levels L1 and L2 are relevant for automatic refilling, so they should be kept in view. An empty or incorrectly filled indicator is not a defect but an indication of the operating state.

Download the Tuya Smart app and switch on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your smartphone. Hold down the SOUND button on the remote control for 5 seconds to activate the Bluetooth module. As soon as the app finds the device, add it and enter the credentials of your Wi-Fi network. In the app you can see the fill quantity, device status, error causes and ambient temperature, and you control ignition, switch-off, refilling, flame, sound and child lock.

The child lock blocks all controls and is released again by pressing for 5 seconds. The tilt protection switches off from an inclination of 3° and above, and the over-temperature protection requires a device temperature below 50 °C for a restart. In addition the device monitors the ambient temperature and stops below −20 °C or above 60 °C; overflow and overfilling are reported via E1 and E2. Do not leave the installation location without switching off the main power supply.

A socket with 220 to 240 V is required, and it must be installed inside the housing. The unit must stand level – from 3° of inclination it reports an alarm and stops operation. When positioning it, also make sure that the area around the unit stays clear and that the ventilation openings are not covered.

Place the fountain on a level surface and feed the mains plug down and out through the pipe in the basin. Press the supplied rubber plug onto the pipe in the basin so that no water can escape. Then pull the power cable downwards on the outside, plug the transformer into the connection and tighten the locking ring, connect the water hose to the pump – without kinks – and place the upper fountain top onto the basin.

Fill the water in slowly so that nothing overflows or splashes. The pump must be fully submerged and the circuit must run clearly. Do not exceed the height of the pipe in the basin – if the water level is too high, water runs over and the fountain appears to leak.

No water may stand around the plug, and the power supply always stays in a dry place. A drip loop in the cable protects the socket from water ingress. Before any work on the fountain, disconnect the power supply.

Use the supplied levelling shims to align the basin horizontally. The pump may only touch the basin floor and must not rest against the wall, otherwise the vibration is transmitted as a hum. Also check whether the pump is fully submerged and free of algae or dirt.

On the first run it can take a few minutes before water comes out. If nothing happens after that, disconnect the power supply and check: is the pump fully submerged? Can the pump cover be removed – is the impeller free and does it turn easily? Only after these checks is the power switched on again.

Check in this order: water level too high? Hose connected fully and correctly? Rubber plug inserted properly – sealed with transparent silicone if necessary? Basin damaged or cracked over winter? The last point is directly connected with the winter care described in the FAQ article Care and Winter Storage.

Clean the pump every 2 to 3 months with soapy water or a mixture of vinegar and water and a small soft brush. Remove dirt, deposits and algae from the pump housing. Make sure that the pump always stays fully submerged during operation – dry running is the most common cause of pump damage.

Yes, GFRC is designed for permanent outdoor use and withstands rain as well as freeze-thaw cycles. Two conditions come with it: no water may collect underneath the furniture, and a cover makes sense during longer periods of non-use. After heavy rain, wipe the surface dry so that no rims form.

The installation position should be level, load-bearing and non-combustible. On lawn or soil, remove the turf and roots, level the ground and apply a 2.5 to 5 cm thick, compacted layer of gravel. For gas fire pits the following also applies: the surface must be level and stable so that the housing cannot tip over.

No. GFRC table tops are not a workbench and not a cutting surface – scratches, structural damage or heat cracks are the result. Work on a cutting board or a mat. It is also better to avoid dragging objects across the top, because that leaves permanent scratch marks.

That is not advisable. Hot pots and pans can discolour the protective layer and leave round rims. Up to about 100 °C no damage occurs; above that you should use trivets. The same applies to glasses: a coaster prevents water marks under the glass.

Yes, that is part of the handcrafted production process. After unpacking, wipe the surface with a dry or slightly damp, soft cloth. Slight mould marks, individual pores and an uneven texture are typical features of the material and not a defect. For surface care in detail there are the Care instructions for GFRC furniture.

The metal parts are tested with a salt spray test over 72 hours – that corresponds to around three years outdoors. In very salty air, for example close to the coast, metal parts nevertheless corrode faster than inland. Check the metal parts more frequently there and treat the first signs of corrosion promptly.

A gas fire pit or a GFRC dining table quickly reaches a weight and a packed size that goes beyond the limits of a parcel service. A freight forwarder therefore takes over the delivery and transports the goods on a pallet in a truck. That way the component stays fixed during the journey and is not handled repeatedly.

Curbside delivery means that the goods are unloaded at the kerb of the delivery address you specified – that is, at the roadside or directly at the property entrance. The driver is under no obligation to carry the parcel into the hallway, the flat or the garden. For everything beyond that point you should plan helpers or a transport aid in advance.

We do not currently offer a carrying-in or assembly service. Before ordering, therefore, check whether the route from the property entrance to the installation spot works: door widths, hallway corners, stair steps plus the size and load capacity of a lift. It is best to note the key dimensions right next to the product specification.

No. Given the size and weight of the products, delivery to a parcel locker or a collection point is not possible. Delivery is made exclusively to the address you specify.

Yes, we recommend that you or an authorised person are on site. That way you can direct the unloading point and inspect the goods straight away. If the first delivery attempt fails, a new appointment has to be agreed – for which a repeat delivery is charged at 45 € per delivery.

The products are delivered in reinforced packaging designed for transporting large individual parts. Keep the original packaging: it is required for warranty claims and for a return. We do not take back or dispose of the packaging for you.

No, assembly is not part of the delivery – but the products are deliberately easy to build. Furniture arrives fully assembled and only has to be unpacked and set up. Fire pits and fountains are modular and are assembled following the instructions; the order of the steps is described in the FAQ article Setup and Installation.

From an order value of 500 € we deliver free of charge. That applies in all delivery zones and regardless of whether the shipment travels as a parcel or by freight forwarder on a pallet. The decisive figure is the goods value after discounts.

We deliver to Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland and Austria as well as to other EU countries. We also supply Ireland, Switzerland, Norway and the United Kingdom. On top of the base price, four surcharges are possible. Delivery to regions that are hard to reach or to islands costs 35 € per shipment. A firmly booked delivery day (fixed appointment) costs 25 € per shipment, and a repeat delivery after a failed appointment 45 € per delivery. For a cancellation after shipping we charge 45 € handling plus the transport costs actually incurred.

No. For deliveries to Switzerland, Norway and the United Kingdom all applicable customs duties and import charges are included in the shipping price. No further costs arise for you on handover.

A preferred day is possible, a specific time slot is not. For a binding delivery day we charge 25 € per shipment. Within that day the time depends on the haulier’s route planning; as a rule the freight forwarder informs you in advance by phone or SMS of the expected time window.

As a rule the goods leave the warehouse within 2 working days of the order confirmation. If a model is not in stock, our service team will tell you the expected shipping date after you order. For freight deliveries the pure transit time to delivery is added on top.

After shipping you receive a tracking number and a note of where you can check the status. With pallet deliveries the freight forwarder also calls you to agree the delivery day. It is best to decide during this time who will accept the goods and where they will be placed after unloading.

Yes, a cancellation is possible after shipping – but it comes with costs. We charge a 45 € handling fee plus the transport costs actually incurred. If you are unsure, it is better to clarify your questions with the service team before the order is released for shipping.

If nobody is present at the first appointment or the unloading point was not accessible, we arrange a new appointment. This costs 45 € per delivery. Before that, check whether access, the manoeuvring area and the accessibility of the property work for a truck.

With freight deliveries the goods are handed over on the pallet at the kerbside – you cannot unpack the shipment fully there, and nobody expects you to. What matters is something else: never sign the freight documents as “received in perfect condition”. Note any irregularities – a dented outer packaging, torn film, traces of moisture or a damaged pallet – directly on the delivery note, with the addition: “Accepted under reserve: packaging damaged, contents not inspected.” Have the driver confirm this note and photograph the spot while the truck is still there.

If damage only becomes visible after unpacking, please report it without delay – and at the latest within 7 days of receipt, so that we can still claim it from the carrier. Have four details ready: the order number, the product model, a short description plus an overall photo and a sharp close-up of the damaged area. Keep the original packaging until the case is settled.

Transport damage is not a material defect but damage that occurred during delivery – and it is not a case you have to settle with the freight forwarder yourself. We report the damage to the carrier and handle the process for you; the note made on acceptance and your photos are the decisive evidence.

Not automatically. GFRC is made by hand, and deviations within 15 % are considered typical of the material – both between two products and across a single surface. If a deviation seems too large to you, please contact us promptly – we will find a solution together.

Our service team reviews the report, classifies the case and tells you the next steps – spare part, replacement or repair solution. Photos are the decisive evidence for processing, which is why it makes sense to keep the packaging until the case is settled. We ship small parts and accessories as parcels, for example smaller spare parts or decorative items. Depending on the shipment this goes via DHL, Hermes or another parcel service. These shipments are handed over at your front door; the parcel service usually informs you in advance about the delivery attempt.

Fire pits consist of concrete, a metal burner and sometimes integrated ceramic – they are heavy and sensitive to edge impacts. That is why they always go out as pallet shipments by freight forwarder. That way the housing can stay fixed on the pallet until the goods are standing on your property. The shipping terms make this transport method binding for fire pits.

The shipping weight shows it during the ordering process. As soon as the basket contains an item classified as bulky goods or as a pallet shipment, that shipping method is shown at the checkout. The shipping costs there depend on the delivery address and the basket, so you can see before buying whether the threshold for free delivery has been reached.

After delivery, leave the goods in the original packaging if possible. Store them dry and not directly on a wet floor – moisture can collect in closed packaging and the component may later show efflorescence. If setup falls on another day, it is best to open the packaging only shortly before assembly.

From the kerb to the installation site you have to organise the transport yourself. Count on two people and plan a transport aid such as a hand truck. Also consider the load capacity of the surface and the lift; with GFRC furniture the weight is spread over a comparatively large base area, but when lifting it acts on the grip at specific points.

No. The glass fibres are fully enclosed inside the concrete matrix and only act as internal reinforcement against bending. They are not part of the surface finish, so you never come into contact with them in normal use. What you touch is always the sealed concrete surface.

The base is a high-grade HPC (high-performance concrete) system, and on the core physical values it matches or exceeds UHPC (ultra-high-performance concrete) standards. Technically it is a polymer-modified GFRC composite developed specifically for outdoor furniture and fire pits. The HPC base uses high-strength aluminate binders and polymer modification for strength, impermeability and weather resistance; the alkali-resistant glass fibre reinforcement pushes flexural strength and thermal shock resistance beyond classic UHPC, without the heat transfer and oxidation problems of steel fibres.

MgO is known for long-term expansion and powdering, poor paint adhesion and high water absorption, and its reaction cycle can continue for more than a year after production – so the material is still reacting when the buyer receives it. GF concrete uses an aluminate system with a dense structure, low water absorption and stable dimensions, and the material reaction is complete before shipping. That removes the risk of a product that keeps changing while you use it.

No. In UV ageing tests over 95 hours the material reached grey scale grade 4 to 5, with no visible surface difference, and outdoor exposure over 3 to 6 months showed no significant colour change. Iron oxide pigments are added at the powder stage and blended in several passes, so they are evenly distributed in the finished piece. Pronounced patches or clouding do not occur.

Density is around 1.7 g/cm³, flexural strength around 16.7 MPa and compressive strength around 42 MPa. Surface hardness is 6 to 8 on the Mohs scale, and water absorption is roughly 3 % when sealed (about 18 % unsealed). The temperature range is −30 °C to 120 °C; with the patented ELEMENTI concrete formulation, special applications reach up to 250 °C.

Both processes exist. Solid-colour products are pigmented throughout with iron oxide powder at the powder stage, so the colour is consistent through the body and cannot flake. Wood- and stone-effect finishes are sprayed with a water-based paint about 100 μm thick, with verified adhesion that holds up in normal use; these versions need no additional sealer coat on top.

Yes, there will be natural differences, and that is a characteristic of a handmade material rather than a defect. Within one batch the colour difference is around ΔE 1.0–2.0, between batches around 2.0–3.5. Hand casting and natural mineral raw materials mean the colour and texture distribution of every piece is unique, with the natural mottled look of concrete.

Yes, and they do not affect structural safety or use. Casting can leave tiny surface pores (pinholes), and the natural curing phase can produce non-structural hairline cracks. In handmade GFRC products both are normal and are not manufacturing defects.

The overall finish is matt, with a gloss level of 10 to 25 GU. In normal use it feels finely grained; specially treated products offer a more pronounced coarse-sandblasted texture. Areas that are touched frequently are sanded with 320-grit paper, which makes them feel smoother.

Different products use different surface systems, mainly a combination of water-based penetrating material plus water-based or solvent-based film-forming material across 3 to 5 passes. Fire pits need heat resistance, so they use a nano water-based coating that repels water and dirt and resists UV and high temperatures. Furniture and fountains add a solvent-based coat on top of the nano coating for additional oil resistance. The top layer cures in 3 to 6 hours and fully cures after 72 hours.

Yes. Several key tests cover real outdoor scenarios: 25 freeze-thaw cycles between −25 °C and 50 °C showed no abnormalities, a full week of continuous rain produced no noticeable change, and 96 hours of UV ageing caused no powdering or significant colour shift. A 500 g steel ball dropped from 1 m left only a dent smaller than 2 mm without cracking. The fire pit housing was also burned continuously for 8 hours – above 80 °C throughout, with peaks above 120 °C on the windward side – with no or only minor surface cracks.

Semi-handmade. Shaping is done either by semi-mould machine spray casting or full-mould casting, followed by natural curing at room temperature, with roughly 50 % manual involvement across the process. Sanding is done with pneumatic hand tools, and the polishing stage uses no polishing compounds. The structure is hollow, with reinforcing ribs distributed inside according to size and shape, so no additional steel frame is required. Wall thickness ranges from 8 mm at the thinnest to 25 mm at the thickest, about 10 mm on average, and corners are reinforced to roughly 30 to 50 mm.

Weight reduction is exactly where GFRC has its advantage. Glass fibre reinforcement allows thinner components, cutting weight by roughly 60 to 80 % compared with ordinary concrete. Even so, check the actual gross weight of the individual piece before ordering and assess access routes and lift capacity.

No. Gas fire pits are approved for outdoor use only; indoor operation is prohibited and genuinely dangerous. This restriction applies regardless of room size, ventilation or the model chosen.

Yes, but the requirements differ by model. Manual burners work indoors and in fully outdoor settings such as an open terrace or an uncovered garden, because the simple construction is weather-resistant. Automatic (smart) models are designed for indoor use or for covered outdoor areas such as a roofed terrace or gazebo, because the built-in electric pump, sensors and app module must never be exposed to direct rain or heavy moisture – water damage to the electronics is not covered.

Two things are worth checking before ordering. If your plans include an open terrace or garden, choose a manual model. And for indoor use, some countries and cities limit the power and room volume of flueless fires; a high-output burner may legally require a chimney or specific ventilation, so confirm the output and local indoor safety rules first.

A gas fire pit delivers a large, stable flame that can be adjusted continuously with the control knob and reads as a strong visual focal point. An ethanol burner produces a real, softer open flame that leans towards ambient lighting; on manual models the flame level is set with metal plates or a metal ring.

Propane, butane, LPG or natural gas, with a rated heat input of roughly 11 to 16 kW depending on the model. Depending on the destination country, the gas type and pressure are G30/G31 at 30 mbar, G30/G31 at 50 mbar, G30 at 28–30 mbar plus G31 at 37 mbar, or G20 natural gas at 20 mbar. The rating plate on the product always takes precedence.

Only bioethanol with a purity of at least 95 %. Ethanol below that purity is not permitted, and neither are methanol, petrol, kerosene or other substitutes – methanol carries a poisoning risk, and the wrong fuel damages the device directly and voids the warranty.

A gas fire pit is cheaper to run. An ethanol fire pit costs less to buy and install, needs no gas supply and can be moved at any time, but the fuel price per litre is usually higher. Working out the annual hours of use makes the comparison straightforward.

The automatic version includes an electric fuel pump, a digital display, a remote control and app support. Functions cover one-touch ignition and shut-off, automatic fuel filling, flame air control, four levels of fire crackle sound, a shut-off timer and a child lock. A manual model is filled by hand and lit with an ignition rod.

It needs a 220–240 V socket mounted inside the housing. The unit must also stand level: a tilt of 3° or more triggers an alarm and stops operation. Around the unit, keep the area clear and never cover the ventilation openings.

Keep at least 1.2 m from any combustible material, and ideally at least 3 m from combustible structures such as a house, wooden shed or timber fence. Do not install it under a roof covering or near overhanging trees, and keep the gas cylinder at least 1.5 m away from the fire pit. The table height should be between 36 and 110 cm.

The base must be made of heat-resistant material, with fire bricks recommended for the inner wall and brick, stone, concrete block or heat-resistant coating for the outer wall. Combustible materials are not permitted, and neither are non-absorbent materials that trap water – pea gravel, river stones or dense concrete blocks – because trapped steam can cause them to burst. The ventilation openings in the product must always remain clear.

Main components are SS304 stainless steel, the valve body is brass, and the cylinder holder on models with a built-in cylinder is powder-coated iron. Visible stainless surfaces are brushed, coated parts are powder-coated. Salt spray testing runs 72 hours at 5 % saline, roughly equivalent to three years outdoors – but near the coast, corrosion progresses noticeably faster and inspection intervals should be shortened.

Work in three steps: purpose, foot traffic, free space. A side table sits next to a sofa or serves one person, so the height difference to the seat is what matters most. For a coffee table, leave a walkway of at least 40 cm between the sofa and the TV wall. For a dining table allow about 60 cm of table edge per person and keep roughly 75 cm of clearance behind a pulled-out chair.

It comes down to how you use the table. If you want the natural texture of concrete, organic shapes and a surface that gains character with time, choose GF concrete. If you want maximum stain resistance, a surface you can cut food on directly, resistance to hot cookware and no discolouration, choose porcelain. Porcelain absorbs almost no water, resists stains better than most natural stone and contains no resin, so it does not yellow outdoors.

The range covers matt, sandstone, travertine, limestone, marble-effect and wood-effect surfaces, in natural through-coloured and painted colourways. The moulded texture is identical on every piece; the texture created by sanding is random. This means the final combination of textures differs from one piece to the next, producing the natural mottled appearance typical of concrete.

Edges are chamfered with an R3–R5 radius, which significantly reduces the risk of chipping; minor knocks will not break a corner off. If a small chip does appear after long use, it can be repaired by applying the supplied repair liquid evenly.

GFRC reduces weight by roughly 50 to 80 % compared with ordinary concrete, but as concrete furniture it is still heavy. Confirm the gross weight of the individual piece before ordering, and check the entry door width, corridor corners, lift cabin dimensions and load capacity. Yes. The supply circuit must have a residual-current device (GFCI/RCD) installed. It is also worth forming a drip loop at the socket – looping the cable downwards below the socket – so that water running along the cable cannot enter the outlet.

Place it on a level, load-bearing surface. The operating ambient temperature must not fall below 5 °C, and the water temperature should not exceed 35 °C. During long periods of non-use or freezing weather, disconnect the power, drain the water and store the unit in a dry place. A fountain and a fire pit side by side make an excellent pairing, because water and fire create a contrast of movement and stillness, warmth and coolness, and help to zone a garden or patio.

Fill it until the pump remains fully submerged once the circuit is running and the water stays clear. Do not exceed the height of the pipe inside the basin – when the water level is too high it overflows and the fountain appears to leak.

Yes. The pump has a flow control knob: turning it towards the closed position reduces the flow, turning it towards the open position increases it. This lets you match the water pattern to the surroundings, from a quiet trickle to a clearly visible jet.

No. Water evaporates, and without changes algae will form over time. Check the water level regularly, change the water at intervals and make sure the pump always stays fully submerged – dry running is the most common cause of pump damage. A fountain works as a calm visual anchor. Plan roughly 1 to 1.5 m of space around it for viewing and circulation; the right size depends on the plot size and the typical viewing distance. A certain amount of light splashing is normal, so keep unpainted wooden furniture, electronic devices and other water-sensitive items out of a 0.5 m radius.

When used correctly, gas fires are very safe. A stable base, sufficient distance from furniture and walls and good ventilation are important. The flame is controllable and does not produce flying sparks or smoke as with wood fires.

The choice depends primarily on the available space and use. Small terraces benefit from compact models, while larger lounges benefit from XL fireplaces with a stronger presence and a larger heat zone.
